Auckland Harbour - sailing and dining cruises
The Pride
of Auckland Company operates its fleet of large purpose-built
sailboats on the sheltered waters of the sparkling Auckland Harbour
(Waitemata Harbour). Auckland harbor is the hub of New Zealand's

Hangi & Concert

Christchurch Afternoon Sights
Depart the city for a trip through the seaside suburbs to the port
of Lyttleton where you take a cruise on the harbor. Pass many
picturesque bays before traveling up over the Summit Road where you
will enjoy spectacular views of the harbor. Journey on to the Sign
of the Takahe restaurant for an optional afternoon tea (own
expense).

Akaroa Excursion
On this amazing tour, visit the extinct volcanoes of Banks Peninsula
and view the beautiful harbors and green farmland. Once at Akaroa,
join the Canterbury Cat for a nature cruise to explore the volcanic
harbor. Sightings may be made of the world's smallest dolphin – the
Hectors Dolphin, New Zealand Fur Seals and numerous seabirds.

High Country Safari
This full day tour offers four modes of transportation, starting
with a road trip through the Canterbury to the foothills of the
rugged Southern Alps. Travel by jet boat through the Gorge to areas
otherwise inaccessible – past waterfalls and thick beech forest,
which line the canyon walls. Deep into the gorge, we meet with the
Unimog and travel to Flock Hill Station in the unique 4WD vehicle
while viewing the spectacular alpine scenery. Following lunch at
Flock Hill, transfer by road to Arthurs Pass National Park where you
meet up with the Tranz Alpine train service back to Christchurch.

Milford Sound
Travel along the edge of Lake Wakatipu beneath the rugged
Remarkables to Te Anau for a short break. Enter Fiordland National
Park pausing at the Mirror Lakes before passing through Hollyford
Valley. The road climbs to enter the Homer Tunnel, emerging above
the Cleddau Valley before descending to Milford Sound. Here, we
board a vessel for a cruise on the Sound itself. You may see
dolphins frolic alongside as you marvel at Mitre Peak rising 6000
feet from the sound.

Guided Nature Walk
From Queenstown, travel to Glenorchy and join the Dart River Safari
for a two-hour excursion along the river, with stops and commentary
for points of interest. The guide then leads you on a gentle ascent
under a canopy of native beech forest, pointing out several of the
varieties of plant species and bird life found. After a picnic lunch
in a forest glade it's on to the magical waters of Lake Sylvan,
teeming with native trout and in season, the most attractive species
of geese and duck.
