Half Day City Tour
Be introduced to
the town of Papeete, a city that is designed for walking. Papeete
curves along the Boulevard Pomare waterfront and sprawls several
blocks inland. The key attractions of the city will be highlighted
by the guide. Be sure to spend time at “Le Marche”; the colorful and
fragrant marketplace in town. During this half day tour, visit the
James Norman Hall Museum, Gauguin Museum and the Museum of Tahiti
and Her Islands.

Gauguin Half Day Tour
Follow the life of
French painter and carver Paul Gauguin, who lived in Tahiti during
the late 19th Century. On this half day tour, visit his
home in the Punaaru valley, as well as the Gauguin Museum, where
many reproductions are displayed, and also the Botanical Gardens and
the Museum of Tahiti.

Belvedere Tour
Travel along the
shore to the valley of Opunohu, then up the valley through the
plantation of fruit trees, flowers and the nursery of the
Agriculture Technical College. Along the way, a stop is made at one
of the ancient Marae (religious temple), and then continue to
Belvedere Point, where you experience a magnificent view overlooking
the Cook and Oponohu Bays.
Return through the
pineapple plantation before arriving at the vilage of Cook Bay, then
stop in the village of Papetoai. This is where English missionaries
lived and built the first printing press, published a bible in
Tahitian, baptized their first convert and performed the first
Christian marriage ceremony. The octagonal church built in 1829 is
still used today.

Shark feeding and
lagoonarium tour
Travel around the
island of Bora Bora by outrigger canoe, cruising the most beautiful
lagoon in the world. A stop is made near the reef to wait for young
sharks, which are attracted by the smell of fish thrown into the
water. Equipped with snorkel gear, you may enjoy the underwater
view of those sharks and the colorful corals around the site.
From here the
tour continues to the natural lagoonarium. Each kind of tropical
fish has their own park: Rays and sharks, turtles, giant mussels,
lobsters and many varieties of multi-colored fish. Fresh local
fruits and coconut drinks will be offered, and you have time to walk
around this small island, before the return to your hotel.

great views of Bora Bora's natural harbor and Matira Beach. The
